Patrick A. DeHeer, DPM, is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon, educator, innovator, and physician leader with more than three decades of experience advancing patient care and the podiatric profession.
As the 100th President of the American Podiatric Medical Association and longtime Residency Director at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, Dr. DeHeer works to raise the standard of podiatric medicine through evidence-based practice, surgical education, mentorship, advocacy, and service.
He has published extensively, developed patented medical devices, and delivered more than 300 lectures nationally and internationally. His career also includes 30 years as team podiatrist for the Indiana Pacers and more than 30 international medical missions focused on reconstructive surgery, pediatric care, education, and sustainable healthcare capacity.
