Dr. DeHeer is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon with more than three decades of experience in clinical care, surgical education, and healthcare innovation. He currently serves as Residency Director at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital and as President-Elect of the American Podiatric Medical Association.

Dr. DeHeer has published extensively, developed patented medical devices, and presented over 300 lectures both nationally and internationally. He remains committed to mentoring the next generation of surgeons while collaborating with medical companies and academic institutions.

He has also participated in numerous humanitarian efforts with various organizations, completing over 30 medical mission trips around the world, often focused on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery with specialization in pediatrics and surgical education in underserved regions.
